The ever-popular children's theater company, Alphabet Soup Productions, performs for the District 204 community twice each year, with the proceeds going to support Foundation programs.
In 2010-11, Alphabet Soup will present Jungle Book at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 20,
at the Waubonsie Valley High School auditorium. Also, in its first performance at Metea Valley High School's new auditorium, Alphabet will offer its holiday production of Christmas Toy Shop at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 18.
Alphabet Soup's third production of the 2010-11 school year will be Peter Pan and the Pirates at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Neuqua Valley High School auditorium.
Alphabet Soup Productions just started its 23rd season of entertaining children and adults. Among their unique, original versions of fairytales that have been enjoyed by District 204 audiences in recent years are The Three Little Pigs, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood's Big Adventure, Rumpelstiltskin, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, Pinocchio, Beauty and the Beast and others.
Still offered at the bargain price of $5 per person, general admission tickets can be ordered in advance by completing and mailing the Foundation's ticket-order form.
