The ever-popular children's theater company, Alphabet Soup Productions, performs for the District 204 community twice each year, with the proceeds going to support Foundation programs.


In 2009-10, Alphabet Soup performed Cinderella (or All's Wella That Ends Wella) at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, at the Waubonsie Valley High School auditorium and it will present Rumpelstiltskin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, at the Neuqua Valley High School auditorium. In 2008-09, Alphabet Soup presented The Three Little Pigs at Waubonsie Valley and Little Red Riding Hood's Big Adventure at Neuqua Valley.


Alphabet Soup Productions just started its 22nd season of entertaining children and adults. Among their unique, original versions of fairytales that have been enjoyed by District 204 audiences in recent years are Sleeping Beauty, Jungle Book, Aladdin, Peter Pan and the Pirates, Pinocchio, Beauty and the Beast and others.


Still offered at the bargain price of $5 per person, general admission tickets can be ordered in advance by completing and mailing the Foundation's ticket-order form.
